Continental DW. Superb wet weather tire, and at least as sticky as the stockers. Also a lot less noisy than something like the Star Specs.

I was loving the Ventus V12s when they were new, but now that they have 7K miles on them, I'm thinking they kinda suck. They now feel like they have grease on them, going into corners.

my hakook v12's felt like they had grease on them from day 1.. good in a straight line and rain but cornering they aren't as good as stockers.. BFG KDW2's i hear they are a good performance tire.

They're superb street tires. Plus they are lighter than all the others in this thread. I have a set of nitto nt01 for the track though.

Yea, he'll prob be wanting some KDWs. My KDW2s hook very well when the temperature is above 50 degrees Farenheit. I wouldn't recommend them though if you have a heavy foot. I love to step down on the accelerator every now and then and they are about ate up now. About 15k miles out of them which I suppose is pretty good. But the most awesome thing about them is they fight for traction no matter what the circumstance is unless you aren't on pavement in which case you shouldn't be driving on that anyways, lol. I'm sure if you don't have a tune you could probably get close to 30k miles out of a set of KDW2s.

I'm realizing now how much I actually liked the stock tires, but they didn't last very long. I only got 11K out of them.

ive done the research and the re11's are prob the best summer tire going for someone who just wants loads of grip in the straights, corners, and rain
