Octane Booster... yes or no?

The highest octane i can get here in Portland, OR is 91 at the pumps. I think the owners manual recomends 92 or 93 is there an octane booster that genuinly works? I have tried the NOS stuff and a couple others and deffinetly didn't notice a differance. Any thoughts would be appretiated. Thanks guys!

alright.. well i have gm stage 3 and run the 100 oct. mode on 93 pump gas... it stays on for a bit until i really get on it. Then it shuts off due to knock... so i end up putting octane booster in (2 bottles) i can tell you from my own experience that most of the **** does not work. The 100 oct. mode still shut off, however i plan on using vpracing fuel or maybe searching online for some good octane booster.

don't use the STP ****, it sucks...

when i had my srt4 we would use NOS brand race or whatever and it would hold high octane mode, sport compact car also rated octane boosters years ago and it actually raised the octane by 2-3 points i believe

ive used lucas the NOS stuff and a few others and lucas feels like it does a little. but then again it could be due to me just wanting to get my moneys worth.
