The number is a 6 digit number and you would need the one that is your dealers, i called DBC about mine this morning and they said it looks like they are shipping, but not mine yet, since it was just repaired on sunday you have to remember they have like over 2000 cars to ship out that takes some time.

18mm nut?? hanging where?? was this something you found loose during the PDI?? (AFAIK there's no 18mm nuts anywhere on the 300V battery pack or it's mounting)

I'm wondering, my car has a build date of May 19, would it be on batch hold after?

Not sure how they are deciding to ship these out, i was tracking orders all day and the vin order had nothing to do with it, the only pattern i could see was the the closest states to ohio where getting orders shipped out, guessing us guys on the west coast have to wait to get a train or something who knows.

$22,227.68

This is the number that I get here on this site for American bought SS/TC's. Here in Canada I priced one from the dealer that I got my SS/NA from a year ago and the bill came to a couple of dollars short of $30 000. It was like $29 700 or something. I spec'd it with sliding moon roof, LSD, and also XM radio with a single disc MP3 CD deck.

Considering that the dollar has been par between Canada and also America for like MONTHS, WTF is the reason that the car I want here is like $7000 more than in the States? I am
100% tired of being dicked in the anus when it comes to car prices.

Sorry...just needed to vent because it makes me furious.

Hmmm doesnt sound right
The MSRP for the USA model is $22995. The Canadian model is $24995.

Options (what few there are, G85 LSD, enahanced radio w/changer, sunroof etc) are VERY similarily priced. While the "destination" charges might be a bit more it's not a $7000 difference at least at the retail level

G85 is just GMs Regular Production Option (RPO) code for a limited slip differential (and is used in MANY OTHER GM vehicles as well)
On the Balt it just doenst INCLUDE "extras" (such as the Recaros) anymore, but it's still available AS AN OPTION for the SS/TC that you would have to order and pay extra for ($495 in USA $645 in Canada)

Were they rolling over some money from your 07 as a trade in or something?

Anyone actually take delivery? WTF are they using to ship them, a car hauler being towed by a turtle? Jesus, if I paid for this car back when they first started taking orders I would be PISSED right now. I can understand them having problems but come on. They've been stalling for way too long now.

No this LSD can't, and camaros and vettes don't have electronic diffs either.

the LSD on all GM cars are mechanical to my knowledge

the Camaros and Vettes had a switch to turn off the traction/stability control is probably what you are thinking about
