ok so found the coolant leak.....

ok so found the coolant leak.....

ok so i have had this sneeky coolant leek.... its on the coolant line giong to the turbo. my hahn intake rubbed a hole in the rubber part. anyone know a part number i think i can just get the rubber hose but the part i found is like $87!!!

I know what hose you're talking about, I just noticed the other day that my injen intake was pinching that hose a little more than I liked. I managed to maneuver it a little so it's not so bad.

It just looks like standard vacuum/coolant hosing.. Half inch maybe? You can buy it at any auto store and cut it to length yourself.

yeah i was thinkin about doing that too i about fell out of the chair when the stealership told me almost $90.... anyone wanna buy a slightly used hahn intake im going cia short asap

wrap something around the line to cushion it and keep it from rubbing directly, and just check it every so often...Like some heat wrap....or maybe some more rubber..idk

my line also leaked, but not from rubbing a hole but from where the rubber meets the metal line, i just replaced that whole section (from front of block to the hardline bolted to the turbo) with rubber hose and formed the bends with those spring things that you bend into shape (im tried, forgot the name of em). the spring things also keep me hahn intake away from the hose aswell, and IMO looks better than goin metal-rubber-metal-rubber-metal.

anyone know what "those spring things" are called i need them!!! and what size is the hose? never mind orileys has them as gates unicoils. still need the hose size
