P0303 Misfire Cylinder #3
P0303 Misfire Cylinder #3
Alright well I have my first real issue with my LNF. To get started 2 days ago after driving home from school a check engine light came on. Checked my interceptor, basically saying the P0303 code or Misfire Cylinder #3. I'm gonna start with the most obvious thing and that's to change the spark plugs out. Not sure if it's a bad idea to swap between coil packs and see if I can get a misfire on a different cylinder. The last thing I want is to have to change the injectors or worst. So far the car has been idling roughly upon start up and sometimes on the road feels like the engine coughs a bit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
im going through the same problem but mines on #1. swap the coil packs around to see if the misfire changes cylinder. try some new acdelco plugs gapped to.030. if that fails try a compression test. also take a look at your maf to see if its dirty
If you want to save money do the coil pack first, but if youre going to switch plugs change the coil pack over too
Was having the same issue. Initially started on Cylinder 3 and then the other day it happened on both cylinder 1 and 3. Swapped out plugs and cleaned MAF. So far havent had any problems. Gapped at stock .035
I had the random misfire and then a focus on cylinder 1, so I installed new plugs gapped at 0.032 because of being tuned, and swapped 1 and 4 coil packs. All misfires are gone, so it was the plugs. If you're still on a stock tune by all means keep the 0.035 gap
Sure man next up putting back on the stock lower charge pipe :/ This is the 3rd time this has happened the the ZZP lower charge pipe the t bolt clamp does nothing for the mani. I'm thinking it's due to the engine rocking back everytime you floor the balt and wiggling the coupler loose.
