well due to the car using mobil 1, that would still have to be bought
ya i know its like 30bux at walmart, but then i have to keep all the receipts and stuff if i needed them for warranty, so if i do the package, its all in the dealer computer should something happen i just print the history.
over 3 years i will easily do $750 of maintenance on the car if you go by the dealer prices.
and like i said before its not just oil changes, its also the semi-annual inspections/tire rotations too so thats where the $750 becomes more realistic
and whats better then getting paid to work on your own car, but mainly im just doing that for the paper trail in their computer

You don't have to "buy" the mobil 1.... if you do your first mechanic... I have heard buy it...

lol i see what your saying, but if the engine did fail and they(as in gm) wanted to see reciepts for the oil changes and i didnt have any it might not help my case lol.
and i may not always work for the dealer
as for buying it...i used it in my old z24 for 3 years, didnt buy a single litre lol and i still have close to 25L in my garage

hahaha my buddy works at a chevy dealer downtown... I was in the area so I dropped by, he's like come check this out..
He had a whole self of mobil 1, in one of his cabinets... he's like this is for your car lol

Yeah, I'm game. I think I actually saw a meet here in Oshawa a week or 2 ago at a timmies. lol that or else just a coincidentally large number of cobalts at one place. Dunno if it was anyone on the site or not.

make that 3 i am in Peterborough ON .... i ordered mine on dec 5th and i had a build date of march 9 th but now it it has been moved to april 6th .. if it gets moved again i am going to cancel mine and get a 2010 camaro ss for next year..

Ontario motor sales. I was in at Nurse and looked at the ones on the lot, but I know they'd been there a while and I didn't want a sunroof. Ended up going down to OMS to see what they had on the lot (which was 0) and the sales guy suggested doing opt 1 which turned out to be wayyyyy cheaper than getting one off the lot anyways.

Holy crap, I'm really hating my dealer about now. I called today, because they told me last Friday that they will have a date for me on Tuesday. I got no call so I called them today (two days later) and got "I was going to call you today" then he had to look up information on his computer anyway, and said "for some reason the order didn't get put in Tuesday (on Lordstown's end) and I called them and I think your build date will be sooner than expected It looks like the week of April 13th". That's the same crap they told me last week and I've heard stories like the hold on the RPD just came off this week (except Volkss said his was built 2/26 and has the RPD) so that's a lie just like everything else. No wonder why these guys aren't selling cars.

There was no Hold on the RPD!
I just called my dealer, cause I heard some other guys local to me.. say there cars got bumped from April 26th, to the 6th.. Just got of the phone! and it's the 6th!!
I'm so excited, FYI dealers get updates on Tuesday & Thursday...

I talked to my dealer last week and still BS I'm telling you. I was told that for some reason the plant (Chevy) didn't put the order in when the RPD "hold" came off (I was told it came off 2 weeks ago) but it should be built the week of April 13th.

You live in ohio, so obviously you would get it a few days after it's built...
Ours has to go by train to Ingersoll sp?, Ontario.. Then back down... to us
