Putting back stock cat

Hi guys,

I know everyone wants to delete the cat but here is my problem.
I am 3" all the way,no resonator and catless but with a Magnaflow 18" muffler. This morning I got arrested by a cop because I am too loud and not legal. I still have my stock cat in my garage and I'm thinking of putting it back on my car.
My only concern is that I am tuned with trifecta 21 psi. Would it be bad for my engine if I put the stock cat or the only difference would be that my car won't be as fast as before?

Thanks!

What? you cant get arrested for being to loud. idk where u live, that cop is a bastard. idk why people drive without a resonator, it doesn't take away a lot of hp and it still sounds great.

Ur just gonna make less power, probably wont notice. Get rid of trifecta though, garbage tune. and id complain about the cop, idiot should arrest people who do actual crimes.

Yeah, I agree with you about the cop (I live in Quebec, Canada). At least she didn't give me an infraction. I have 1 week to change my exhaust or I'll have to pay if I get arrested another time, I have a note in my file.

I'll try with my stock cat to see if it works and if not, I will add a resonator. Thanks for your advice.
And for the tune, I bought the car with these settings but I heard too that Trifecta was not so good. In my plan to change that too..

"Arrested" must mean something different in French Canada. Here, in the US, an "arrest" means you at least take a ride to the police department in handcuffs, get fingerprinted, and are charged with something. A traffic stop here is a "detainment".

The stock cats will be fine for the engine with the tune. You'll probably notice a slight delay in power delivery.

Friend had a Camaro with 3" glass packs that turned out about mid door. Cop walked up commented on the exhaust with a smile and just asked us to leave the lot.

I got a bus lane ticket driving in a new area while trying to find my way. Officer said go fight it. He never showed up to court and it got thrown out.

Most police aren't trying to pick on you. They have to enforce laws they might not agree with.
