question real quick.

i am thinking about what i plan to do with my ss/sc and i really miss having a turbocharged car. i saw that they made the ss/tc sedan in 2008. and i think it was only in 2008. also i wanted to know if the tc sedan came with the RPD option. ??? My ss/sc is 100% stock and no its not my first rodeo. i have had many cars and modified them im just thinking about moving up to the turbo. before i start dumping money into this one.(coilovers bolt ons etc.)

well if you think you can handle doing a turbo swap, zzp sells a good kit for around 3-4 grand (about the price difference between an ss/sc and and ss/tc) and it would net you 400+ whp

that said, yes the ss tc sedan can come with rpd, and if the car doesn't come with it in it, you can buy the rpd and put it in yourself

Ss/tc sedans were made only in 09 and the rpd was a option only. So some might come with it and some dont.

awesome thanks for the feed back i couldnt find much on it on google. and i saw something about a turbo swap for the sc but i guess i could just research that. i didnt want to sink too much into the motor cuz past builds its obvious it takes a lot to make some good numbers to the ground, but i like the idea of the 4 doors and stock turbo

there is a good number of people on here that have turbo swapped SC so most issues that may arouse have been covered. finding a sedan with a RPD and G85 would be a car worth moving up to because it would be very rare.

400whp sure, but not for 4k anyday.

Clutch, tranny, axles, lsj's aren't strong enough stock etc etc etc. Your $4k turns into $10k before it's reliable.

If you can find a Sedan, hop on it. You should also be able to put in a RPD since its an 09 if you find one for sell without it.

true, true, i didn't factor that stuff in. add another 5-800 then for a good clutch and zzp axles then lol. lsj tranny is just as strong as the lnf one

You can add rpd but it is very expensive and complicated and has only been successfully done a few times on here best bet is an interceptor
But if you find an ss sedan with rpd you will be happy with the car

this^^^ make sure you plan everything you need in advance, make sure you get all the things you need not to compromise your reliability, otherwise you spend $ 4k or $ 5k and you'll find yourself with your car broken very often
