+1. this is exactly the purpose of my question. Im 20 and I have always worked hard to buy my own cars. Its clearly not that I cant afford it, otherwise like you said I wouldnt be driving it. Its just I know its good to be conversative sometimes because the money could be useful somewhere else. Like Ive said before I recently bought my SS/TC, but Ive also been restoring an antique Vette for 4 years which has DEFINITELY taught me to budget my money haha. Im currently building a 383 stroker for the vette, so I dont want to just throw cash around without making sure its necessary first. Like Ive already said turbos are new to me, thats why Im trying to pick everybodies brains as much as possible.

 

when I test drove a new TC I could here the tick clunk noise while accelerating on the highway with it in like 4, I thought to my self why is it knocking, oh the idiots that work at the dealer prolly put 87 or w/e in it im sure.I know they where stupid when i was sitting in the car and asked about the competive mode, the salseman told me only vettes have that as i put it in the damn mode, my 98 monte gets knock bad with regular, put 104 in it it all goes away
