Quick exhaust silencer?
So i recently got a ticket for my exhaust being to loud so to get the ticket dropped i need to prove that I quieted it down but i do not have my stock exhaust to throw back on, i have heard of people using steel wool as a dampner, any other suggestions?

Buy a resonator where the normal muffler would go and have an exhaust shop weld it in.
Amazon.com: Magnaflow 13743 XL Stainless Steel 3" Round Muffler: Automotive
Putting steel wool in the pipes sounds ridiculous by the way lol.

Just do the steel wool. Works great. I had the same problem with my 04 GTO with a Corsa exhaust, heads, cam, headers; this was NASCAR loud. Stuffed some steel wool in the muffler, presented the inspection station with a fake invoice for a new muffler, and passed with flying colors. It was much quieter than stock. When I pulled out of the inspection station, I stomped the gas and shot steel wool all over the road. It was great!
