Rear Sway Bar Rubbing?
I installed my sway bar a while ago and noticed that it was rubbing against the trailing arm as shown on the picture. To alleviate this I thought of putting washers as shown in the pic, has anyone done this? Does your sway bar rub?
Here' mine:

See even when I look at your pic it looks like yours is touching or at least very, very close to your torsion beam there in the one spot.
I have no problems with contact or rubbing..they all look like that installed. As far as I know, the BAR and the rear trailing arm move in tandem so there shouldn't be any rubbing between the two.

Reason is because when I go over big bumps I hear a bit of a bang coming from the back. And when I get under the car and just bang the sway bar with my hand I can hear a bit of metal on metal contact.
Which bar? If you have the PRS bar, and you hear something when you hit the sway bar, either it's installed wrong, or you are really lowered, and the exhaust is hitting the rear beam under compression. It's far more likely that this is the exhaust hitting the beam rather than the sway bar making noise.
The sway bar is directly connected to the beam, and as such can't really make any noise.

I'm lowered on Pedders springs and it's the PRS Street Bar (1"). And the bar is definitely installed correctly, it would be quite hard to install it wrong lol.
Well I slid in a tiny piece of rubber were it was touching (or really close to) the trailing arm/torsion beam (on both sides) and now the slight banging noise is gone.

The prs bar part that goes across the torsion beam isn't held at all, if you hit a bump it will wiggle up and down some so I can see this hitting. Mine doesn't though, but I have the hardcore bar

If this doesn't work I will probably take the bar off and grind an 1/8th of an inch off the torsion beam.

Mine touched too never made any noise though
Make sure you torque the bolts down to about 50ft/lbs too. It'll make noise if the bolts aren't tight enough I've heard it on 2 cars over here

The rubber or anything else is going to be temporary and probably more temporary than you expect. That's a lot of force there and frequent. It'll rub through that rubber rather quickly.
I'd do the proper fix as soon as you get a chance.
