I sold my truck to get the tc while in college, while it saved me some money im wishing I had a truck now. I have a old firebird for a toy car, no idea why i decided I needed 2 racecars.

I regret everyday, but once I look at it in the right light, or drive it at the right moment...I get all WTF was I thinking, I LOVE THIS CAR. I do wish I had AWD or RWD, and I along with everyone else wanted the g8GXP, but it is nice to know that we all own the fastest (stock) FWD car ever made, atleast on the N that is. I have contemplated on trading mine in on a 12K mile SRT4 for a few months now, but just couldnt pull the plug. The styling is not as aggressive as an SRT and the sound isnt as mean as a SRT, but seriously, this car beats the dog **** out of an SRT in almost every other category. When you mix in the fact that we are now seeing 500+ whp LNF's on stock internals, you start to really see the true raw potential of this beast. I just wish I would have bought one used, not new, but you cant beat that new car smell

I love my lil 4-door.
Even with all its lil quirks I cant think of another car I would want in the price range.

haven't had any major problems with it. payments are stupid low. military discounted insurance is low and extremely affordable.

no regrets until recently.. Had the car since June of 08 and just recently my lower back has started to have serous issues - but only when I drive this car.. I almost cant walk after the 30 minute drive to work - I might have to sell/trade it for a larger slower car

I swapped 07 SS/SC seats in my 09, (I got the backs too.) It was a trade + cash from the other party. I like the leather heated SS/SC seats better for DD, and sparco sprint for raceday.

I don't know how old you are and I'm not joking about this. Years ago I was complaining about my back to my family doctor. Maybe I should say at this time I am a retired truck driver. My doctor was like the old family GP from back in the day when they made house calls. Anyway!! He asked me where I carried my wallet and I told him the same place 99%of all men carried them. In my back pocket. He said that was very likely the problem. He told me to change to a front pocket. I did and after a month or so I started to realize my back wasn't hurting as much as it had been. It continued to get better till it stopped hurting altogether so I switched back to using my back pocket. Guess what! My back started hurting again after some time. Now I'm not a doctor but if relocating my wallet to my front pocket solved my problem I'd say it's worth a try. Of course the wallet thing is really only the catalyst for some other underlying condition but it worked and is still working. It's worth a shot.

I have no regrets at all!

Regarding the seats though... My SS seats are much more comfortable for long distance drives than my old SRT-4 seats! Although, I loved the size of the bolsters on the SRT-4 seats, they just held you around corners...

Tell them you're related to "Sponge Bob Square Pants".

My Doc also gave me a bunch of Viagra years ago. I told him I really wasn't that old yet and didn't need Viagra. He said "try it, you'll like it". I told him again I REALLY didn't need it. He said "try it, SHE'LL like it". I still have the Viagra in the medicine cabinet. Just in case. This guy was a doctor only because he couldn't get work as a comedian.

I switched to my front pocket about a year ago, probably one of the best changes I have done. I don't think it looks awkward since I have a thin wallet, never had anyone comment on it.

No regrets w/ my purchase, although if I had to get a new car now I'd have more options, I was working for GM when I bought my Cobalt so I felt it was necessary to buy GM. Of course my loyalty wasn't returned, something to remember for the future.

Snow in Southtown?! Heh :p

We just got dumped with about 8" yesterday, with a good set of snow tires I was driving all around in my Cobalt without issue. The LSD sure helps a lot But now my SS is covered in salt

Nope. My only regret is that the roads and salt here make it impossible for me to drive it year round.

zero problems with all my vehicles. ss/ t-c, '07 gt500, 1995 m3 Ltw, ss-s/c,
1967 alfa romeo gta.

except the pesty honda motorcycle grounding issue... a little saki-ish.

if your power steering [eps] is problematic it might be the battery terminals has white stuff propagating &/or battery charge is poor (below 12 v) or (shorted) needs replacement.

the cupholders do suck, i had a whole med coffee topple over to the passenger side.

the antenna is HUGE

and the little **** spoiler they put on is quite lame. probably should have waited for one with a highrise.

No way. (to the original poster that is)

This little car is the biggest, best bang-for-the-buck car out there. It's got a pretty good warranty, it doesn't look totally "ricer" (especially in my case as I've got a Sedan SS) and it can whip up on quite a few other cars. ESPECIALLY if the 'race' involves a corner or two.

I love this little car.

Cup holders DO suck, I wish the rims would have been at least 8.0 inches wide instead of 7.5. (A LOT more tire options and much better grip.) The little Audi TT came stock w/9 inch wide rims!

I put a shorty antenna on...

Having almost gone through my entire first winter with the TC I can confidently say I have 0 regrets trading in my LS for the TC. The car does well in the snow (as long as TC is off ), is a hell of a lot of fun to drive (gonna get me in **** ) and it's costing me less than my '05 LS did.

Like Buzz I had to replace the stock antenna with a shorty. That cellphone tower on the rear quarter panel was driving me absolutely nutts.

Regret

I regret not having enough money for the downpayment. I regret not getting an LSD but not to down about that. And lastly I regret not having my mom cosign so i could be on her insurance plan. But what I dont regret is getting mine rally yellow, which i just put on a wingless. I dont regret spending any of my money on mods for the car, nor storing it in the garage for the winter. And hopefully this friday when I get tuned, I wil not be regreting it one bit since unless the engine blows which would be an epoc fail. I love the car to death, perfect handling, great looking, and for the price you cant beat it for any other car for the power and handling.
