Remote Key / Remote Starter

Good morning everyone!

You know when you just got the car and your head is so full of things you want to do and you lose your sleep because of that?
Yeah, I'm on this situation right now.

So... The new car needs lots of things to be done.
Some of them are already on track, but others I need some information which I am unable to find right now.

The car came with only one key - which looks like the spare key.
Plus, I am great in forgetting the doors open.

Question is: does the Cobalt SS 2010 comes with remote key module?
As an extra: does it come with remote starter module already?

If so, where can I find them?

I read here that I will need someone with tech2 to reprogram a new fob, but that seems to be easy to find, I think.

Thanks a lot everyone.

Buy the key fob and take it to the dealer they will usually program it pretty cheap. As for the remote start that is an aftermarket upgrade you will have to install or get installed.

Considering how crappy our e-brakes are I wouldn't bother with the remote start!

Yep, agreed. It's just so that I know which key fob to purchase.

Ah. I wouldn't be surprised if it's interchangeable but the correct P/N is 15252034.

If u leave ur keys in ur ignition u don't have to worry about locking them in, cause the door will immediately unlock when u close the door with then in ignition.
