Repaired the PCV nipple on my intake hose

Because it snapped off twice after using a JB Weld-type product and super glue. I had better luck with electric tape. This time I used a 5/16" hose ID barbed fitting from McMaster-Carr. I had to chop off the 2 outer barbs for the PCV hose to slide on far enough to lock into place. I used a 1/2" bit to drill into the intake hose after cutting off the broken plastic nipple edge. I didn't drill so far that the small duct that projects on the inside was removed, so that part is still attached. It worked pretty well.

Do you have the part number for the barb fitting you used?
