Replacement Clutch???

Replacement Clutch???

I believe i have had the clutch go up in my car the clutch pedal goes to the floor and sticks there and my car wont go into any gears at all. What replacement clutches have you guys had good luck with???

You may have other issues besides a clutch if the pedal drops to the floor and stays. Bad/leaking throw out bearing, bad master, etc. Might want to go over everything and try bleeding it to see if the pedal comes back and go from there.

As to the clutch, that all depends on your current power and future goals. If you're stock or even just stock turbo and plan on keeping it that way you could get away with a GMPP clutch. If you have a bigger turbo or want one eventually, take a look at KY, Southbend, and Spec. Most have used only one of them, and some have had issues with them(not just one brand) but they all make clutches that'll hold the power of bigger setups if that's your goal. There are a ton of threads on the individual clutches if you do some poking around.

Thanks for the imput i think plan on keeping it simple and rather stock i just know got almost 170,000 and gonna need clutch no matter what my issue is most likely so whatever the problem is i was gonna replace it while its all torn apart. Thanks for the imput.

Throw a stock clutch in it with new hydraulics (clutch master, slave/TOB and clutch line from master to distribution block). I'd suggest a LuK flywheel to save yourself a $500 and enjoy!

When you say stock clutch ia that the GMPP clutch everyone is referring too? If so does anyone know the part number to it?

Yes. Let tom (crate engine depot) know what year and model you have. They have the best prices on the gmpp clutch.
