Piston rings? As long as the cylinders aren't out of round why not. Just hone them to remove the glaze

I am against that. Have you done a compression and leak down test yet? You need to find the real issue. You might have head issues like bad valve seals or something as to why your still smoking. Chances are your cylinders will be a small bit out of round, but chances are if its the rings the cylinders will be washed out, meaning very shinny and not good for sealing. Which is where the de glazing tool comes in. Its not hard but you have to have a good rhythm so you maintain the cross hatch in the cyl. Do the small things first to rule them out. What did you do for the pcv system with the turbo swap?

I couldn't do anything y boy broke the Pcv line that goes. To the intake so I have a hose that clamped down for that the nozzle on the far left of the valve cover he capped off, I haven't got the catch can yet and the powell performance Pcv system is a tad out of my price range, I was hoping head gasket but since my friend blew his he seems to think its the same issue but my car revs idles fine dealer has my car doing the compression test I was told they clean the cylinders to get a better reading

Hang on, post a pic or text me one. Are both the rear hoses that came off the valve cover closed off? If so that could be your issue right there.

im in NY on leave but the hose that goes to the intake is there I had to make one and use clamps to hold it on, the other hose is capped off and the breather I had on my car the top blew off so now I have the regular oil cap back on there.
