RPD Unit substitute
From what I understand there's no way to get a RPD unit installed on your car if you don't already have one.
I've done a little research and it seems DashDaq is a good substitute, but is that the only one? I wouldn't think it would be... So what else is out there.
DashDaq seems good, but $550? Is that really a good price, is there cheaper ones out there somewhere that is just as good?
Thanks all

You can put an RPD in but.......if your going to spend the money..... the dashdaq is in a whole different league capability wise. The dashdaq has many more options and features (Gps included ) compared to the RPD .... it just comes down to what you can spend cause the dashD is more expensive.
I'm not knocking the RPD ..... for what it costs as an option ...... it's a great display.

I thought you couldn't do the RPD unit on a 2009 TC unless it was factory installed.
How much would it cost for a RPD installed on a TC without it?
Also, I don't know if you can find it cheaper, but from the dashdaq website it's $700 for GPS, and my phones GPS is just fine, so if I did go Dashdaq, I'd go for the one without GPS

I actually kept my superchips Cortex and use it like a dashhawk. It has the same capabilities as a dashhawk but with a smaller screen. It sit's between my tach and speedo nicely.
Come to think of it they are made by the same company so that has something to do with it .

Why pick one when you can have both?

I've since gotten all the wires hidden and Dashdaq parameters how I want them, so it looks a little different now.
