The pic above is a SS/SC with a 4.05 final in it compared to our 3.82 final . You should be around 2850 rpm at 80 according to this calculator ....http://www.f-body.org/gears/

tire size shouldn't matter, unless you re did the computer, it doesn't know tire size, it just knows how fast your wheel is spinning, by telling it tire size that is how it calculates MPH, so if it thinks your stock, it will calculate the wrong speed if you have a bigger or smaller tire

Hell, my 1990 Prelude was just about redlined going 80 and it would start going all over the lane. My 93 Civic topped out at 82 and I could only get there if I was driving down a hill with a breeze behind me.
