I need to kno how as well. The other DIY is for a Supercharged, although they are very similar I just don't want to mess up.
you need to change spark plugs after a seafoam? I know about an oil change but plugs are necessary too?

If done correctly you don't have to replace plugs.if you over do the seafoam by overloading the plugs then yes. There is a little nipple on the intake mani next to the purge valve.take the vacuum line off of it and put a longer hose. On it. Start the car and let it suck about 1 quarter of seafoam out. Then turn the car off for 5-10 mins. The.start the csr and let it idle for 3-5 and drive the car for roughly 5-10 mins. .come back and. And seafoam another 1/4 so you should have half left. This is only if u havent done it before. If u have only do process one.

I dont have a pic.. but its in the middle of intake.. it has a vacuum line on it.. if youve never done the seafoaming before do the complete step twice.
I'm out Christmas shopping so no way to get a pic lol

I put 1/2 can into the vacuum line directly on top of the intake manifold slowly until the very end. I put 1/4 in the gas when the tank is just over a quarter full. the last 1/4 gets put into the oil. I dont like putting much in the gas and oil because of what everyone has said about DI and turbos...but i have yet to have a single issue. I have seafoamed the balt at 43, 40, 37, 34, and 30k miles. I purchased the car with roughly 25k.
I dont change the plugs every time i seafoam the car because i do it before every oil change. I usually change the plugs after 3 times which is about 10k miles anyway. i use NGK 3787
However...I feel the seafoaming can help contribute to EVAP purge solenoids going bad quicker. No big deal u can get them on ebay for 10 bucks shipped.
any other questions let me know.

I did this on the Dsm to find an exhaust leak. I used the middle nipple on the intake manifold and it only went through cylinder 3 and 4. I took the exhaust manifold off right after I did it that's how I found out it only went through two cylinders. (They were wet the others were dry) I would suggest using two if possible to distribute it through all cylinders. I don't know what the lnf intake looks like but if there are two you can use on opposite sides I would do that.

I was wondering if anyone tested it out on these cars. All the people on the dsm forums say to use the middle one so I had to show them they were wrong. The Dsm has one on the drivers side that I used also to get it to all cylinders. Good think someone tests stuff out.
