Shifter cable adjustment?
Has anyone been having trouble getting their SS/TC's into gear sometimes? Its weird, sometimes it will feel like I can slide the shifter into each gear very easily and other times its very sloppy and I'll hit a wall. This happens to me even when I'm driving normally and not pushing it. Just the other day i was doing a normal shift into 3rd gear and I couldn't get the shifter to go all the way in. It ended up only going halfway in and when I released the clutch the shifter popped right out back into neutral. I'm pushing the clutch all the way in when I shift and I feel like I'm still hitting walls sometimes. From reading the forums I understand that the shifter linkage is cable actuated and can be a little finicky at times. I'm wondering if its worth taking to the dealership to get checked out.

My car has 7000 kms on it and has the same problems as u r stating. Sometimes it wont go into 1st from a stop, and when driving it also has trouble intermittently going into 3rd and 5th. Anyone heard of a fix for this?????

Yep, pull up your cup holder and the two shift lines are directly below. If the white plastic pieces are not snapped down it makes it seem like a gear is missing dometimes. Just push down plastic piece till it pops back in. real easy fix!!
