A cammed TBSS should be running low 12's, if thats slow then what is 99% of Cobalts? I'd take my chances with a modded TBSS over a modded Cobalt in the 1/4.

stock runs about 13.9-14.5 based on driver....

14.2 stock YouTube - ‪Trailblazer SS 1/4 mile drag (Stock)‬‏

Theyre running mid 11's with boost i dont see low 12s on stock car with cams and cutout sorry

with these mods...Its got a CAI, ported intake manifold, electric fans, headers, catless y pipe, a cat back, built transmission, 3600 stall, drag radials, and tuned myself. the car has run like a 12.55 best time lol YouTube - ‪Trailblazer SS In car 1/4 mile run‬‏

Does he know his transmission is going to go out soon. A friend at work has one and is having problems, look online and they are notorious for having transmission issues.

A stall on the tbss would have given him a much better latch but as stated it is a heavy suv. I raced a few modded ones in my TA and 2010 camaro SS stock are a joke I killed my friends in my TA before the cam and stall and he had a m6. I even gave him an advantage we went 50 to 13o ish and i just started walking away. Now with a cam a new SS can be quick I raced a m6 cammed vs my cammed and stalled TA and got.him but it would have defiantly beat my cobalt not stock is a differentbstory too much weight and too little power to compensate. Honesty after driving a.2011 v6 mustang I think that would give a SS a good run stock for.stock depending on the drivers skill. Love my cobalt but from a roll my TA would eat it up even with some mods but from a dig a mildly modded TC should get me since I have no traction under 40 mph. Ls motors love mods but depending on what it is in the weight can make or break it. Were doing a cammed ls1 swap m6 into a 90 240 sx couple when that is done it should easily run with vettes since it's lighter and cammed it should lay down around 400rwhp

idk.... i know they are fast... and we both knew it was going to be a good race... i know they are extremly fast cars, and i was surprised to see i was catching up the first race, and in front the second race.... it was a close race tho. i wouldnt say i smoked him, because he was right behind me, and i was right behind him. but still... it was surprising for me

Where do you get your information from, internet stories? I'm curious since I've owned both a TBSS and a Jeep Srt and have spent over five years on both boards. My bolt on AWD TBSS ran high 12's. A cam would have easily gotten me mid 12's or better, and headwork might have sneaked me in the 11's. I've seen many H/C packages out perform the blown applications.

Your average Jeep is not going to run anywhere near mid 12's in stock form unless your racing at Atco on a negative 4k DA night. An average Jeep time is low 13's.

Now I'm pissed that I sold the Jeep, I never knew it would be a breeze to get into the 10's with it.

Mid 12's to 10's are worlds apart. Out of the thousands of Jeeps on the road for the past six years there is less than a handful that have obtained 10's. So no its not a breeze. For as slow as the TBSS are they have beaten the Jeeps to all the milestones including 10's.

I have a 06 TBSS in addition to my 09 SS/TC, and of course my SS/TC will tear up the TBSS, but the Cobalt is modded, the TBSS isn't.

If I put $2,000 into the TBSS, it would pull on the Cobalt...

But for a big heavy SUV the truck is decently quick. Leather, touch-screen navi, dvd player, sunroof... And you can haul passengers, put big items in the back, and tow 7,500lbs, the TBSS is pretty amazing.
