Go to harbor freight and get the engine brace. Use a hd ratchet strap (wrapping it around the engine brace) and get the trans in the air enough for you to get under it, leaving it a few inches under where you need to be. Lift the trans like you are bench pressing it, and stab it in. Hope you get it on the dirt attempt.

Thanks man its great to be working on the car again, still lots of work to do but slowly I'll get her done. I might put the turbo on and then wait a few months to install the transfer once I have a garage but Idk yet, really depends on weather

Yup I am I don't really have a choice, weather hasn't been the best with a lot of wind and rain. At the rate it's going I might just finish the turbo install and get a quick tune then once I have my house do the f40 swap inside my garage

So I haven't updated in awhile but due to weather and other things I wasn't able to work on the car for a week but now I'm just waiting on a gasket for the oil return line since I kinda screwed up the other one lol once that's one I will install the trans mount, dp,intake and charge pipe and she should be done for the turbo.
Now for the trans I'm thinking of just waiting like a month to be able to do the swap in a garage where I don't have to worry about rain or wind. I will however install all the other stuff

Lol, I mangled my gasket too. Its best to clamp it to a piece of wood when drilling it out, and dont drill it the same size as the oil return line holes you have to bore out, you will regret that! Lol. Trying to line up the gasket, bolts, return line and not drop things is a treat. I did this, and with snow melting off car all around, laying in a puddle of ice water, not fun. I'm not sure what to drill the gasket to, but do just enough the bolts thread into the gasket and hold it all together. You probably already knew this, but just saying to save you heartache

So small update I was about to start the car look under and what do you know I have a turbo coolant line leaking. Bad thing about that is that it's hard to get to since it's between the turbo and firewall. Let's see if I'm able to fix without taking anything off
