So, just got RossGo's car...

Just picked up RossGo's balt today and all I can say is wow. The car handles freaking amazing with the pedders and other number of suspension mods done to it. Loving having me a balt back. Missed cruising around and getting decent gas mileage while having power on tap. Its looking like both a clutch and zzp head is in order to be done. Possibly a BYT Tune but an overall great car. Definitely worth 19.5k.

I'm pretty old and I still want the power more than the handling. That feeling of acceleration is why I like driving.

Conidering that its fully bolted, has every option for the ss, has every poly mount, and has pretty much the best suspension you can get for a street driven balt and close to the best street tires (kdw2s). I got what I paid for. I gave 19666 for my other one brand new minus taxes but dropped 2 grand in it and still didn't handle or perform anywhere in the ball park of this balt.

As long as you're happy... that's all that matters.

Buuuuut...

Poly is ****... so I wouldn't consider that an upgrade. If they were Powell mounts, they'd be upgrades; everything else is a downgrade.

And KDW2's are not even CLOSE to the best street tire out there. Not even in the ballpark.

Yeah BLUE BOOK value goes down with mods, but the blue book isn't what's worth it to him. Get over it holy ****.

There not even in the same tire category. They are UHP's not Max performance tires. I know its silly, but in the tire world thats a BIG difference.

These cars have AWFUL, AWFUL resale. Glad you like the car and all, but 19.5k is definitely a lot. Like others said, modded doesnt increase the value really, and lots of time actually decreases it. Thats why when you mod your car you should NEVER expect to see a return on that investment. Like I said though, as long as you like the car be happy with it

I personally like it. I honestly believe its a great car. The tune is mild I was thinking I was getting ripped too, but I have most of the stock parts. I could make a decent amount of my money back if I were to sell the stock parts. The stock suspension
could be sold to any g5, ss sc, or regular cobalt owners. Oh well... If I got ripped I got ripped. Been there before with my jeep. I suppose I'm just too generous a person...stupidly generous...

LOL, Blue book wahhhhhhhh

What someone will pay and what a book says are 2 different things.

Kind of nice to know someone thought it was worth it .. I mean I think these cars are worth every penny I paid. Sorry if yall got a lemon ...
