Hello guys I had a few questions I'm trifecta 20 psi tuned I raced a srt4 and we were pretty much dead even. He told me he just had stage 1 a 3 inch cut out a cai and updated intercooler. I raced other srt4s and smashed on them. I was just trying to figure out if this guy is lying. What do you guys think?

 

sounds like he's lying. i kept up with a stage 2 srt4 with a small boost leak when i was stock. i know a guy in town that has more mods than that on his srt4 and he is only making 260hp at the wheels on the same dyno i made almost 270whp with just GMS1 and no other mods.

Yea that's what I thought cuz I can could hear his turbo spooling at idle and I know that stock turbo dnt sound that aggressive lol. I put down 315 hp and 320 tq I seen srt4s with stage 1 put down like 250 to 270. How heavy are the srt's?

 

hes probablly lying for one. but honestly it doesnt really matter if you hear the turbo spooling. all that means is he has a open exhaust or cut out or something of the sort. it doesnt mean you have a bigger turbo or anything.

 

what are you? stock with only a tri tune? or bolt ons and tune?!

i tested against a caliber str4 with some mods
i was stock with a base tft tune +-150 kpa


but his friend had a k serie. according to me, it was more fun to run against k serie and it legendary sound than a srt4.

for me K serie is the best N/a sound during WOT. sound very good on gopro thought

The CSRT is much easier to make fast and quicker than an NSRT. If he was running MS1 with intake, wga, injectors and FIC thats good for high 300's/low 400's
