No. It is not the same.
I know this because GM replaced the subframe with a brand new OEM one on my LSJ. It took 3 weeks to get it because it was special order and SS specific.

The LSJ and LNF share the same one though. So you need a 05-10 2.0 SS model subframe to swap in.

Good luck with that. You will probably have to buy one brand new ($600 IIRC) since more SS models in the JY are super wrecked lol

Yup, blue nailed it. The only subframe that will fit in a SS is another '05-'10 SS sub.

^ I am also curious.

I thought the subframes were physically the same and would bolt up no problem. The only difference being that the 05-06 base and SS subframes having a bolt and tab for the sway bar bushings while the 07+ SS subframes were two bolts.

Thought that was the only difference as well. Hell they use the same rear transmission mount.

I probably should have worded that differently. I should have said, the only frame that you WANT is another 05-10 SS sub. All the subframes will of course physically fit interchangeably, but the non-SS frame is substantially flimsier and prone to torque flexing. If I remember correctly, they're both different part numbers and are substantially different prices partly due to how much more robust the SS sub is.

Either way, you should always replace your SS sub with another SS of any year.
