Supposedly you can get the knob and install it and it works. That's what I've read on here.
You just saved my back man! Thank you!!!!

And why do u thinking GM didn't get Recaro to make the seats for the SS turbo.....yet sometimes I read reviews that claim they are recaros in the SS Turbo?

Did he trade a with an SS/SC or buy aftermarket Recaro's? The seats that come stock are definitely not Recaro..... they are an in house seat developed by GM performance division .

Got the sedan SS, I like my seats just fine.

Las Vegas don't need no steenking heated seats, and leather in any qty sucks ***** in the summer, hugely.

its lumbar, and if you have a ss/tc coupe its a knob between your legs on the right side under the seat

I know that but he said there is something where you push and pull them out, is that the same thing?

My sedan has the hole for the knob , but I looked underneath the seat and I do not see anything that it would operate.

Anybody have an upside down pic of a coupe SS/TC seat ?

Thanks !

It adjust for the lower back, so it could just be built right in to the seat.

Bolsters , what he is talking about, is the side support of a T/C seats. You can push the sides in for a tighter squeeze or pull them out to loosen it up a little. There is a wire running in there which allows for some play. I recommend doing it very slowly and gently at your own risk because you never know it might break.

I adjusted mine from when I was bigger I pushed them further apart , yet now that I have lost weight I pushed them back towards each other so it holds me nice and snug while cornering.

The Recaro seats in the Lsj are the most comfy, I had an 07 IRL with Full leather, Was so comfy but wasnt the greatest when hard cornering! I have ridden in a TC as well as a Leather SS/SC And a recaro swapped 07 SS/SC, my honest opinion is the recaros are the best, The reason they didnt continue is because of the air bag sensor in the pass seat! Yet some 07's on the balt side had recaros and the sensor! No 07 IRL's had recaros with the sensor from the dealer!

Early 07's still came with Recaros fyi.

I almost bought a Rally Yellow 07' SS/SC with Recaros, but I still had a few months of college left, and wanted to wait until I graduated.

Agreed..... I had Recaro's in my 06 SS/Sc and prefer them over the seats in my TC . I've also driven a standard seat SC and out of all of them the Recaro's were my favorite.

I prefer the firmness of the recaros, but agree that the t/c seats are probably the best all-around for comfort and adjustability. Both are nearly impossible to keep looking brand new. lol

tc seats>recaros>ss/sc

i first rode in a ss/sc with recaros. they were awesome but not that great looking
got my car with the ss/sc seats which i though looked cool but yea, sliding everywhere
traded for ss/tc seats = couldn't be happier! especially when i found out you can just push the side boulsters to hold you more or less! perfect

although for driving, i gotta say i can never really find the perfect driving position where i don't feel crammed up to the cieling or hanging off the steering wheel. wish it was electric controls

Stock tc seats are better than both sc seats. You're crazy if you think the recaros hold you better, that or you are all shorter than 6'. Leather is shitty for grip as well.
