Now does upper refer to the complete upper grille assembly (2 pieces surrounding the bowtie) and the lower is for the lower part that pre-08 SS's do not come with?
Also, for the lower grille, is there going to be any trouble installing these considering we don't have anything set-up to mount there?

And this will also depend on wether or not Chevy changes soemthing else between now and the first '08 SS sale in order to keep the grilles SS only.

Someone get a VIN number off of one of the existing '08 SS/TCs and get it to Tom at CED so he can begin ordering them -- I'm sure GM would go for an order of 100 ea grilles off of one VIN number

I went to the dealership today and did got some info. Unfortunately, my dealership just ordered their SS/TC last week so they don't have a VIN for CED to look up. However, I went over to parts and researched the parts numbers (25820008 and 25820009) and they do have pics of them in the system. These are the correct part numbers. They ran a locator to see if they could get them anytime soon. The place they found was a dealership in Indiana, other than that nobody has them. They also tried to see if they could order them from the supplier. Not possible.
Sorry for the mixed news.

dunno about you guys, but in canada, the 07 SS didn't even came with any grill at all in the lower part of the bumper, and the top one had horizontal lines... I like that new "uniformized" type of grill, looking like the ones on the rear skirt
