It would probably be a drivers race, but I would place my bet on the SS/TC.
But, please look around, and you will see a couple of threads on a SS/TC, vs. a Stage 2 SS/SC or a Redline Stage 2

u didn't look very far, try "ss/tc vs" and "sstc vs" and i'm sure you'll see several threads pop up.........the ss/tc will win hands down, the LSJ owners just don't understand how the LNF is geared on top of the fact it's turbo so we are not losing top end because it's a pulley off the engine.

technically speaking absolutely, miss a shift and the ss/sc wins hands down but in the end driver vs driver if neither makes any critical mistakes the ss/tc will win.

I've never driven an SS/TC but I'd give a very slight edge to the turbo car. The stage 2 SS/SC should be able to keep up or even win with a great driver. I'd like to race both with my LT1 z28 and see what happens

You say a stock TC will win hands down but in your sig you ran 14.4 @ 100 mph . SOME stock SC's have run faster times than that , not a ton but quite a few. Add stage 2 and its a drivers race, many have broke into the 13's some into the .80's . I'm not being a fanboy but saying anything other than a drivers race is ignoring the facts.

The best time ever recorded in a turbo stock was 13.5 with around 245hp( give or take) 250 or so Tq (give or take)
U mean to tell me a car with more tq and hp have less times than one with less. It has atleast 40+more Tq than a stage 2 and slightly more Hp.

13.3 impossible stage 2 sc only produces around 240-250 hp and low 200's of TQ

I dont care how good of a driver you are those times arnt possible with that much tq and Hp

So now it's a strict Stage 2 only? Anyways it was a 13.3 @104. Yeah, a stock SS/TC ran a 13.5 but a tune, DR's, Intake, and Catback only added 6 tenths and 1mph? Yes, the SS/TC is a superior car but in that case it needs to hurry up and take the #1 spot on the drag list from a SS/SC on stock blower with just a 2.85 (12.7@108.9)........
All im saying is, If its a stage 2 kit with other mods then yea I can believe that time.
