stage 1 decals

i'm getting the stage 1 kit soon. i have heard mixed opinions on this, but i was thinking
about getting a stage 1 set of decals made. i have a good friend who does this for a
living (and some work on the side). i was just screwing around on the computer and
came up with these examples. what do you think? i really like a couple of them. my
buddy can make them in any color or size. i was thinking small, and putting them
right after (or under) the ss badges already on the car. - skip.

well, just measured the ss emblem. it's roughly 1-1/8" tall and 3-1/2" long.
thinking the decals could be 1" X 3". my car is black, i was thinking silver in color.

i know there are companies out there that do this sort of thing. i'm just saying that my buddy does this, and i can work with him and have this made exactly as i want it made.
also it won't cost me an arm and a leg either.

I think this image more appropriately represents what I think of my car:

I personally don't like any of them. 6th down from the top would be my pick, if you could make the letters solid (they have those little notches missing from them). That looks like the most 'factory' style font. Try to find out what font the "Cobalt" and "Turbocharged" emblems are in, and use one of those.

actually i like 6 from the top too. (but i like the notches missing). i kinda like
2nd from the top and also 2nd from the bottom. these are just examples i came up
with. i'm sure my buddy has ALOT more fonts to choose from. i will take my examples
with me (and the cobalt) when i go see him this weekend.

ya looks like he typed out stage 1 and changed the font a bunch of times... i can think of alot better designs then that... unless you want to avoid the flashiness. still a good idea though for those who want one.

yeah i really dont like any. i would just see if 24th designs or whatever they are called can make you one a nice emblem.

I also agree with most of the people here...its an interesting concept putting a stage 1 badge on, but for lack of a better word, many of these look "cheesy".....are there any other badges your are thinking about putting on?

I saw this site awhile back...perhaps they can make you a classier looking "Stage 1" Badge

Just go to their shopping link, type in whatever you want and it gives you samples

i am not getting a "badge" or an "emblem". what i am looking at having made
is a paper thin vinyl decal. a "sticker". - skip.
