Sun Roof

I noticed something weird earlier today, i was putting some stuff in my passenger seat and when i closed the door, my sunroof raised a little and went back down. I did not slam the door either, it closed back up, but it would suck if there was some bad wain and i hit a speed bump and a little water gets in the car. Does anyone elses car do this? My srt-4 never did it.

Never had an issue with my sunroof. Still works like it did the day I got the car.

Man, its crazy how many people have these epic fail problems. I drive my car daily, carpool (5 people in it sometimes), have 50k miles (on an '07), its been to the track, I go down to SC regularly to visit my parents, and its got a good deal of mods on it...........and yet the ONLY problem i've ever had with it was some broken wheelstuds, which was likely my fault.

Only does this with the windows up, if so it's just air pressure trying to escape and the Sunroof is the easiest place.

It's cause by excess pressure in the car when you shut the door. Next time you're around a newer Audi or some other high end car watch what happens when you open the door and after you close the door. When you open the door the window opens about 1/2 and inch and after you shut it it rolls back up. This is to let the pressure escape so that they don't have to deal with the sunroof popping up or some crap like that. It's really nothing to worry about IMO

From what I can tell, this is standard fare for entry level cars with sunroofs. A Stratus R/T that I test drove did that.
