You guys are talking like an HP tuners tune is universal. There are different variables between different hp tunes . It's possible to have a **** tune done with HP tuners , so the superchips tune could be better than some of them .

good luck keeping your waranty if you take your car tuned with hp tuners in for any repairs. if your gonna use hp tuners get a extra stock pcm. with the sc you can just flash it back to stock and the dealer cant tell it was ever tuned. i know you can get more power with hp tuners a dyno and a expert tuner. i dont wanna kill the car yet and would like to keep that waranty. your probably gonna need it! and yes i can drive very well probably not as good as the monkey though.

I'm going to test it sometime this week , I'll use the dealers tech2 and see if the CVN numbers match after the flash back to stock.

there is actually some pretty good tuners on here. where my car is getting tuned he has tuned alot of LNFs and they are making stupid power. But not so mmuch it will blow the engine. But i know that the sc tune would not match up against area47 or badblueberry and such.

Seriously...HPTuners NutSwingers have no business being in this thread bashing this product. I was one of the first few to get the Superchips tune on this site and it was an AWESOME product. It woke the car up A LOT and was loads of fun mashing the gas down. The only reason I got rid of it was because i wanted more power!! And if you're just looking for something mild that will liven up the car substantially...the Superchips tune will certainly do that. Be warned, though, that the extra power could potentially have you craving for more...in which case you will do as I did...sell it and get something else. I do think that is a very cool thing about it though...because you can just detune your car...and sell the Superchips thing for damn near what you paid for it. I drove the Superchips tune for a little over a month with no issues at all other than going faster.

for one i am not bashing the SC tune. Like you said its a good reliable tune. But i was just saying that he was a better driver than the other guy that is all. 13.45 is good but with a good driver with HPtuners you are going low 13s high 12s. I am going right now bonestock 13.7@104 2.16 60ft. Once i get a tune its going to be high 12s.

Got slips? Because that trap speed is incredibly low for a 13.1 sec pass. You should be 108-109 at a 13.1

No need to bash the SCT it is a nice safe addition for any person wanting safe reliability and speed. I've had both the SCt and trifecta now. I love my Trifecta but have nothing bad to say about the SCt except the lack of tech support, touchiness and the vague updates... they could do alot more but for some reason haven't a clue yet.

Yep , I've been updating my cortex regularly and there have been 3X more updates for the truck line than the car. I've asked why they don't release notes on each update and they say the new site is going to have them soon......that was 2 months ago lol. I contacted them about the touchiness and they are having the "calibrations team" look into it......we shall see how many months that takes.

If anyone else has the touchy throttle response or any other complains about the tune it would help if you post it in the problems section here http://app.flashpaq.com/forum/ Maybe if they see more than one person with the issue they will get on it ....thanks .
