Tranny Failure

Well i put in a new gm tranny in my tc under warranty and i got roughly 1000kms on it and now no 3rd and noise within the transmission. Never evenin got to race once on it and never even performed a NO Lift Shift

I would say that it's pretty unlikely that one person could get two faulty transmissions, so I'm going to say it's you.

1000km on a new tranny....check the linkage assembly to see if a pin from manufacturing is jamming 3rd. You must really have to try to ruin a tranny in 1000km; I'd say manufacturing defect but 2 trannys and your list of mods are leading me to believe otherwise.

Will it not let you into 3rd (like hitting a wall) or is there just no engagement of a gear when the shifter is in the 3rd gear position??

Do you have the B&M set correctly? It needs to sit VERY far forward and a little to the left in order to not grind or do other bad things.

BTW did you go 13.7 @108 with all those mods? Seems like it should be in the 12's with all that stuff.

I did 13.7 on stock tune with some of those mods. And everything external of the transmission is perfect and no its no a throw out bearing and the pin it perfect. Also my B&M shifter is set correctly. When i go into 3rd there just isnt any engagement, i can shift into 3rd without using my clutch haha every other gear is fine even 4th and the is internal tranny rattling
