Yeah, it's kinda slow today. After buying the O2 sensor today, I got to thinking about the things I've renewed/replaced on it in the past year, as well as the things people said they've been replacing every so often. lol

I left out the zip ties and duct tape for the charge piping.

I bought mine from GMPartsDirect.com, #12589380, $58.

I heard that CED had them too, but I couldn't find them there, and the local dealer wanted twice the price when I called them about it.

So it wasn't really answered, does this stuff need to be changed every year or did the OP just feel like replacing it for w/e reason

It shouldn't have to be, but I may be having some trouble with mine, so I just recently ordered one.

The whole yearly part is the joke because I've had my car for only a little over a year.

I am having misfires and now getting knock all the time so i am going to try it. And before someone asks, yes i tried changing the spark plugs. I was on autolites and now am on brand new stock plugs and it's still bad.

In the meantime, try resetting the ECU. That would sometimes help for a while.

Are you getting a CEL from your misfires?

hmmmmm i guess it's worth a try. I'll try it when i get of work

no CEL's just random misfires. Im going to monitor (with aeroforce scan gauge) it a little closer today to see if its a particular cylinder or all of them

I think the MAP sensor just has to do with a bad batch or something?
