Turbo XS intake!!!

LOVE THE NEW INTAKE! whooo! just got my turbo xs intake today. took me about an hour to put it on. i had the injen on before.

all i have to say is...

nice job turbo xs... with the injen intake, im not saying its a bad one, its a very good intake, it took more time to spool up... most of you wont beleive me, but really... i am spooling waay faster, especially in the lower RPMS.

also, the spool sound!!!! GOD DAMN! its loud as fuuuck! my dick was hard everytime i gave it gas....

one thing that is kinda cool, reminds me kinda of the forge bpv, mind you i have stock bpv, so when i let off gas, the blow off sound is a little bit more sustained now vs the injen one... the injen one when i let off the gas it would go "sssssCHEE!" the turbo xs intake goes "sssSSSS! CHEEEEEEHHHH!!!EEEHHH!!!!!EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!" lmaooo

since i was on the injen tune, my car was acting funny... wouldnt really run right.,.. through a CEL after an hour. p0101.

got the stock factory tune, no CELs. none, drove it for about 50 miles. nothing... D

i am really in love with their products. i honestly am...
when i first got my car, i was saving for ALL hahn products... hahaha
but i ended up seeing how well the reveiws were about the quality of these products... well i must say. its flippn ammazing man...

great customer service as well. great guys down there

pics! flix! chips and dips coming soon!

I highly doubt that the intake alone is making you spool faster. It's probably all in your head because it just sounds different.

Glad you like it though, I haven't seen many people with it installed yet.

We have sold many of these new Turbo XS Products. Honestly IMO from first hand viewing, the quality is better than Hahn, and the price is much much better. Plus you dont have to wait for what could be weeks for a Hahn product to ship, Turbo XS and ourselves keep these in stock.

BTW damastah update your signature

Waiting to see pics also!

i honestly had no idea this would happen. but when i slapped on the intake, i was just cruising in 4th, and went wot for a second, i do this 100s of times in the injen, it usually doesnt spool too high, and it takes a while to spool and 1500 rpms... but it spools a lot faster, and more at lower rpms with the turbo XS intake... look at the video im about to post. its uploading to youtube atm

I've been waiting for someone to finally buy some of their products. How's fitment with the intake?

On a side note, where are you located in Maryland?

DP and exhaust were perfect fit. intake, i tucked it all the way to the end, and it came out a lil short. but i just pulled it out about 1/8" of an inch, and its a perfect fit!

i am in ashton md, next to olney

Gotcha. Just about every Cobalt owner on this site who lives in Maryland lives in the upper portion of the state.

just want to remind you that the rpms dont keep up with the actual engine speed very well. boost is more than likely building where it should be but you may have gained some power and now your cars acceleration is even just alittler bit quicker than before so the rpm tach is having a harder time of keeping up.

watch the video. tell me if your car builds boost that fast at 1000 rpms in 4th gear?
if so, maybe something wrong with injen intake, or the old tune.

That's a great way to ruin your engine and clutch.
