Very pleased with GM Stage 1

Last Friday I had the kit installed at Frost Pontiac in Brampton Ontario, the guys did a great job and it really wakes the car up. Being able to burn rubber while accellerating in second gear is awesome. I do not need a aftermarket tune as I am not out there for huge HP numbers. I think I will get the K+N kit when its more widely available as well as upper charge piping. I was thinking about going with the ZZP catted downpipe as well....good choice?

Cheers,

Jason

The down pipe and the charge pipes are definitely good choices, the intake however is not. GMS1 is a canned tune and does not work well with aftermarket intakes it will screw up your fuel trims. If you want GMS1 don't get an intake if you want an intake get an aftermarket tune (Trifecta or HP).

actually... K&N from the results isn't that bad.. and supposedly AEM's NEW INTAKE.. is suppose to be better than stock...

I'm extra excited to get mine put on. Parts are scheduled to be in mail today and installed this coming Monday. I'm really hoping I get a noticeable extra push back in the seat feeling.

Love my GMS1+, it makes you 'feel' like you own a fast car instead of just knowing when you pass people, lol

X2 mine was installed last night! good stuff... i can't break the tires free in 2nd just from romping on it tho..(it'll chirp a little then stick) mind you my car only has 1800 miles on it so the tires are practically brand new still i love this kit! very noticeable increase over stock!
