VIR track experience with my Cobalt

I know a guy that went the weekend of the 29th and 30th. He has a black 92 corvette, name is scott. He said the cobalt(s) were kicking ass.

I realllly want to get out to VIR, it looks like an amazing track.
I was going to wait on springs, swaybars, konis, NT01's and 17x9's & 245's - but since it will be my first time on track I should probably just go try it on street tires and stock suspension first.
Glad to see all the cobalts out - I have a sneaking suspicion that since many of the warrantees are about to be up and many of these cars are getting close to being paid off that their track presence will increase dramatically. Hopefully its this kind of track not the straight kind
