I bought a fully loaded G5 Sedan - i really want to turbo/super charge it ( as there was none to be had in the entire province of Nova Scotia(vacationed) and or Ontario ( live )

I know the chevrolet/cobalt line is interchangeable with Pontiac G5 series especially GT

Now i know the SS Sedan and SS coupe runs Horsepower of up to 250 - the G5 GT is alot less - well i'm running a mid level fully loaded G5 sedan and wish to have pointers on suping this puppy up.


It's funny just yesterday on Kijji some guy had a fine condition SS engine for sell 850.00 Canadian - i'm wondering would that be worth the effort to purchase ( if possible )and swap out engines or get a Super charge kit ( i hope i'm saying that right )


Also any recommendations for spoilers - bra's, ground effects , body kits - even hood bonnets with air flow capacity ( much like the sport Cobolt or new Pontiac G8 ) wodl be highly appreciated. Money is an object so i'm straring this as a project a little bit a month and i want to update with pics

Same goes for interior stereos and or display screens

it says turbo charged - so which section does it go ? Could you direct me or have a mod move my post to the proper section please - i'm a new member and it's my first post - cut me a little slack

 

This section isn't FOR Turbocharging the engine, it's about the Factory SS With the Turbocharged engine. You might find your answers under the specific engine section below, ie which Ecotec you have, 2.2L or 2.4L. Running the GT you probably have the 2.4L.
