Washed and a cool picture

Hey everyone.

I got my SS/TC on Wed. Loving it so far. It was really nice outside today so even thought it was still clean I decided to give it another wash Took a bunch of pictures when I was done, and I just thought I'd share this one I thought was cool.

See you guys around. This seems like a pretty cool forum!

I live in Cedarburg, 20min north of milwaukee.

I'm definitely ready to start doing some mods. I'm waiting for the CAI, and possibly some lowering springs, but I haven't researched those much yet. Yea the car does seem a little high, but its still pretty kick ass!

License Plate on the front FTL.

Yea, tired of how high mine sits, and not being able to slap a cat back/cai on it.

I've managed to tint it, pull the chevy, cobalt, small gm badges, and dealer badge off of mine already, and buy a pac that allows me to control my ipod through the steering wheel, but that's about it.

Yea I know the license plate sucks. I'll be working on taking it off tomorrow. The dealer wouldn't let me have it without the plate on. They are required in wisconsin, but I havent had one on any of my last few cars for like 4 years, no problems.

I'm really excited about the CAI that I was reading about on here. Can't wait for that to be done. I'm not really sure what to do about the height. I'm gonna wait until more people lower theirs and see. I think it handles great as it is and I don't wanna ruin anything.

That sucks. Ive seen some people on here get theirs with it already attached in states where it is not required - I would tell the dealer to replace the bumper if they had done that to mine. My dealer just gave me the kit in the trunk if I ever need to put one on - so no holes drilled in my bumper!

It's the pic...with the lip kit, I barely have any clearance for my ramps I use.

Which was about the same as me 2.4SS with sportlines...so i wanna say it is about as low as maybe a pro-kit...springs are def stiffer than FE5 set up in the SC cars.

The pic might make it look higher since its from such a low angle. But I feel like my cobalt is still pretty high. Here's another pic from a standing position... The space between the wheels and body is still pretty big. I think lowering this car would make it look so bad ass.

I'm getting my windows tinited 20% around next week which is gonna be awesome

I would say put some sportlines on that thing and it will look really good. By the way what dealership did you buy your car from cause I haven't seen any at the dealers around my area.

Well I actually didn't buy it, I won it. Kinda a long story, but http://nationalautotech.com/ should probably explain it. I won the competition in 2006 and won a chevy cobalt 2 years after that. I had the car ordered and delivered to Newman Chevy in Cedarburg, WI

I'm in WI too and mine should be coming in very soon.

I haven't had a front plate on any of my cars (I do on my truck though) and have never had a problem, even when getting pulled over for other stuff.
