Weapon R CEL Eliminator

Has anyone tried to use one of these on a catless downpipe with a regular bung hole?

The reason i ask is because i have a weapon R eliminator that i have had for awhile and never even used, and if i can save the $30 and give the eliminator a use ill do it.

i know they worked for plenty of other cars but idk about this one. thanks for any input.

What downpipe? Most have the O2 at an angle where no code is set off.

Which maybe works for about two weeks then throws a cel regardless.

Was going to go with zzp. With regular bung instead of angled. Then use the eliminator pipe I already have

Or in pretty much every case including mine, has worked for 3 years and counting

well if you have the angled 02 bung you don't need it.

if ou have the standard o2 bung you need it. only thing that would stop it from working is if the threads are a different size or if its too tall and it will hit the tunnel.

Digging this post up from the dead..

Finally had a chance to install my Catless downpipe with a standard bung from zzp.

As you can read from before, I had a weapon r cel eliminator laying around and I decided to save myself the money for the angled bung to be welded on my downpipe.

Well it works. Catless and the eliminator and no cel. Just posting this so if anyone has the same situation and is looking and searching for cel eliminator options.

Why not just have the CEL turned off with HP Tuners?

I'm not tuned yet. And like I said I had this part just sitting around and never used it so I thought its water under the bridge for the cost of the part so I saved myself some money now by using it.

And I probably will have it done through HP tuners incase it randomly decides to come on.
