weird start up problem

Within the past month or so I have noticed that when I start my car the rpms jump up like normal and then a couple seconds later it drops real low almost stalling the car. it will continue to do this a couple more times. It is worse when it is cold out. Only does it when the car is not warm. I can start it in the morning and it does it but after my drive to work, 10 or so min, I shut it off and it does not do this. Any ideas what might be causing this?? I have a hahn intake with kn fiter, custom charge pipe, and hahn exhaust with no tune. Thanks for any suggestions ahead of time.

EVAP Purge solenoid, IACV (maybe clean it), normal. In that order. Are you throwing any CELs?

Also, does this happen after filling up with gas?

Actually my cel is on but i thought it was the gas cap because it keeps saying check gas cap. ive had it replaced twice now that i think of it. No doesnt happen after filling up with gas. i should of done more research, i found another thread with very similar issues but thanks for the suggestion.

i created a thread with this issue a little while ago. i checked my codes and got p0496 p0497 p0455. i have the same issue at start up only i get a ratchet like noise when the rpms dip down. i have had trouble starting the car one time in the past month after filling up with gas. and often when i fill up the pump shuts off at random times.

Whtbolttc09,

Best of luck in getting this resolved! If you decide to work with a dealership, or have questions about warranty matters, I'm happy to help if you were to send me the last 8 digits of your VIN, name, and contact information via direct message (or email - see my signature).

Hate to bring up an old thread but I am having an issue with the car mentioned in this thread. As of a coupe of weeks ago, I am having trouble starting the car after filling up at the station. Car starts fine cold, Ill drive 10,15,20 min and fill up and then when I go to start it will just keep cranking. Ill turn the key to the off position, attempt another start and it will start but idle is rough for 30 secs or so and then normalizes. Temps in NY have been pretty cold the last 6 weeks or so but as I stated earlier, it starts fine on cold startup, just have trouble after filling up
Any ideas?
Car is a stock 2010 other then GMS1 with 55k on the clock (no CELs)
Thanks

EDIT: Is it maybe EVAP purge solenoid, anyone have a part number for this?
