Trifecta all the way!!! I tuned mine this week and the tune is amazing... Also, Vince doesn't quit until the tune is perfect...he has been tweaking mine just to make sure that my car runs perfectly...

Me too. But the fact that you keep your warranty will make it pretty attractive.

Nope stage 1 plus some tweaks with HP tuners on a dyno is going to be the best.

It should be fairly clear that for performance, even an aggresive GM kit will not be as performance oriented as a custom one could be.

I am eager to see the Stage kit, but GM will hold back a little bit on the cars total potential for the sake of reliability. If you are willing to take the chance by going all out with a custom tune, I am sure that will be the most performance.

BEST tune is subjective. If you want an all out drag car, I would say custom tune has to be the best. If you want reliability, the stock one is best.

I dont think so. Unless you are turbo swapped you have no chance against my car. I have at least 40whp on you. Tune only the Trifecta test TC made 287 whp STD (275 whp SAE). Mine unlike most other tuned TCs makes more power after 6K. Yours falls into the toilet. How do i know? Because I have seen the dynos of three different trifecta tuned TCs. The stage 1 kit will allow for an extra couple pounds of boost and definately more midrange power if it is tweaked with HP tuners. Why dont you actually think before you post? Too difficult for you?

The trifecta tune really does push the car to the very limit of what it can do...and it does it safely and effectively. I haven't seen any clutch slip in my car and based on the car's performance there is nothing more I will be able to do to get more power unless I turbo swap....

Don't waste your money on the GM kit unless you are afraid of warranty issues...and even then tuning on top of the kit may void (if the can track it)...just get a cai and trifecta... you will be happy you did

my hahn cai just came in. havent installed it yet. is it a big difference? i hear the turbo spooling is a lot louder. can you hear the air goin back into circulation like a blowoff valve? and can you feel the difference in the power?

hmmm?

I dont know how you know this since no information has been released about it. So where are you getting your stats from?

Out of curiosity... I'd like to know who everyone thinks has the most knowledge of the Bosch ECU's and has done the most original reverse engineering work of the tuners?

I can buy HP Tuners and dick with the torque/airflow/timing/cam phase tables with the best of them... but even what HP Tuners has is somewhat crude in its understanding of the inner workings of the Bosch ECM's. Thats no knock on HP Tuners, just saying they have a long way to go until its like the Gen3/4 V8 stuff.

Trifectas tune isn't the greatest Pysco stevo and terminator2 and others have found a much better A/f Ratio then what trifectas using ..

I wish I could race some one with a stock car on a trifecta tune vs my custom tune.

You're gunna loose ... Alot of extra parameters can be changed to give you added traction etc through 1st

X2.
I have 8 hours worth of custom dyno and part throttle street tuning on my car to get it where it is. Not knocking Trifecta's tune but It is better to have a dynotune on a loaded type dyno. Either a load cell dynojet, dynocom, or mustang dyno is best.

He was the one being a Dick in the first place, and I am basing my knowledge on the fact that HHRs and Solstice's already have the stage tune avaliable on them and many are loging 26 psi in the midrage in and 24 psi up top. We cannot do that because our stock OS and map sensors will not allow for more than 22.5 lbs for more than 3 seconds before it slams the throttle shut. ADM performace got 338 whp and 395 wtrq with HHR with full bolt ons and a tweaked stage tune.
