thats all well and good but id have nothing to drive while im waiting for this to be done.. id rather just replace it.. and itd be cheaper as well in most cases
You can always pay the full price, have it sent to you, then send them your old turbo. Not sure how much they would give you.
I would assume they would refund you 1100 dollars if your old turbo worked.

in order to replace the turbo, you will have to replace the turbo manifold, and in most cases the chargepipes as well.... there is no "bolt on" turbo out there for our manifold, and spending that amount of $ for a K04+ is pointless... you can get 350whp with the stock turbo... just full bolt ons and a good tune... if you want to change the turbo go with zzp turbo kit... you wont need anything else and youll be at 400whp+.... its pointless to spend $900 plus labor to do the wheel upgrade... just for 25whp...
Yeah dude, theres no bolt up replacement.
Only option is the wheel upgrade if you want to upgrade your stock turbo. All other turbos available replace the exhaust mani, deletes the water lines and you will need a new intake and charge pipes. The only bolt up turbo available, I remember, was like a gt2871r from BTF that was modified to fit like stock and even had a machined turbo flange to make it bolt up. But BTF isnt around anymore which kinda sucks. He had a few ideas I liked.

that is a high ass payment for a balt...how much was rolled over from ur last car? im at $403 with extended warranty, lojack, and tire & wheel warranty//road hazard ( no trade and 4k down and dealer employee pricing)
WAT?!? Thats a pretty hefty payment, I'm at $350 /mo w/ warrenty and roadside plus I only pay $200 /mo for insurance, that covers my house, guns, and 3 cars... Life choices, time to reveiw them.

being in the army i was like meh i can afford it... shoulda kept my 2-4 balt... i wanna sell this thing for round 10 grand and just pay the rest off really.. but since i cant get rid of it i might as well dump go faster parts into it
Wow. That's a horrible idea. You're already miserably upside down. If you're dumping money into it, it should be into that loan.
