Question what to replace stock torubo with?

Ive been thinking of replacing the turbo in my LNF and I am at a loss for what CAN even replace it? i dont want a big turbo with big lag. i want a good replacement with good response. and can boost me up int the 350WHP range.. Any thoughts? and potentiaol costs? also i dont wanna have to fabricate anything for it.. id like a simple swap..

if you want cheap, don't change the turbo. a bunch of stuff needs to be re-done and the car will have to be down for awhile

You can always pay the full price, have it sent to you, then send them your old turbo. Not sure how much they would give you.

I would assume they would refund you 1100 dollars if your old turbo worked.

in order to replace the turbo, you will have to replace the turbo manifold, and in most cases the chargepipes as well.... there is no "bolt on" turbo out there for our manifold, and spending that amount of $ for a K04+ is pointless... you can get 350whp with the stock turbo... just full bolt ons and a good tune... if you want to change the turbo go with zzp turbo kit... you wont need anything else and youll be at 400whp+.... its pointless to spend $900 plus labor to do the wheel upgrade... just for 25whp...

Yeah dude, theres no bolt up replacement.
Only option is the wheel upgrade if you want to upgrade your stock turbo. All other turbos available replace the exhaust mani, deletes the water lines and you will need a new intake and charge pipes. The only bolt up turbo available, I remember, was like a gt2871r from BTF that was modified to fit like stock and even had a machined turbo flange to make it bolt up. But BTF isnt around anymore which kinda sucks. He had a few ideas I liked.

Not worth it, i'd get either the 16g or the FP 68HTA from dejon.

That FP68HTA seems like the better option to me. The kit comes with everything you need for 1600 I think. The 16g is old and overrated IMO.

Tell you what, you can trade me your LNF for my LS and then you can upgrade whatever kind of turbo you want onto it Sounds like a fair trade to me

Unless you're trying to pay the car off in 2-3 years, something is very wrong.

WAT?!? Thats a pretty hefty payment, I'm at $350 /mo w/ warrenty and roadside plus I only pay $200 /mo for insurance, that covers my house, guns, and 3 cars... Life choices, time to reveiw them.

Wow. That's a horrible idea. You're already miserably upside down. If you're dumping money into it, it should be into that loan.
