There are definetly Dbags from all model types on the forum. Unliscensed 15year olds drag racing in LS's, TC drivers running without air filters or thinking they can walk terminator cobras, SC guys with a inferiority complex. The last of which is normal. Remember when the LS1 was released? how did those LT-1 guys feel? The LNF guys will feel shat on once the LNY comes out... big fn deal

I didnt buy the SS/TC because i wanted to whoop up on SC guys, i bought it because it is a class act... for now

An act of class? What do you drive an evo now?

And like I said, read my quote on the sc's "inferiority" complex.

Most of the SC guys didn't bash the 2.4L's. most of them in fact defended the 2.4L, I know this because I was one of the people bashing the LSJ owners who were bashing the 2.4L'ts.

That would be a bit easier Rissa if most people who own your car acted like you and weren't ******** about it.

i thought the ss/sc cars were awesome...i was planning on ordering a 2008 ss/sc. gm said no more ss/sc...i was pissed, because i really wanted that car...i almost bought a 2008 pontiac g6 gxp coupe instead...then i found out about the ss/tc...i waited until july and bought one and i love it. i really think the problem with this forum isnt the new guys with the tc...its the old guys with the sc...if there wasnt a ss/tc, only a ss/sc...everyone who owns a tc would own an sc instead because they are awesome cars. but if you could pick between a new sc or a new tc, most would pick the tc because all around it is a better car...and most of the sc owners dont want to admit that...

I joined a few months ago when people were making fun of the Cobalts as they were slow and always breaking down. They even linked to the problem section.

I joined as I saw the 08 TC came out and I had no clue with 260 HP. I thought it was crazy and went to go look at them but the interior was too much poo for what I had. Then I kept reading on here and finding out the car has almost everything I wanted my Si to have and it was cheaper and had better gas mileage. I kept going to dealers trying to find one for under $30k CAN and when I finally did, I bought one as the Si is a great car, just not enough HP and etc. To drive the Si up to a stock cobalt, would require alot of money and work and no warranty.

I get the car tomorrow or Thursday and i hope its worth it.

linking this one for you buddy:

PS--- find me one thread where the ss/sc and ss/tc are BOTH talked about where some SS/TC guy doesn't come in and basically say "My car is so much better than the SS/SC". Find me ONE then come back here and say the ss/tc owners aren't the problem. You my friend...fit RIGHT IN with this:

You guys bash us and make us feel shitty about our cars, then talk about how high and mighty and great your ss/tc's are. And then you get cocky and act like douche bags instead of treating every member with respect.

This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Point proven yet again.

Thats just it, the ss/sc aren't slow. Yeah they broke down, but that was because people wanted to just go **** crazy and mod them without thinking of what to do and not to do.

So basically you think the ss/sc's are slow and always breaking down eh? Ah yes, agian, point proven.

I don't think anything about the s/c. It was at the civic forum I attended and a thread on how crappy cobalts are. Its always going to be a Import vs Domestic. Always but I have never really bashed a domestic. Sure a basic version but not the SS or SVT etc. Thats just how I found this forum.

Also, the Si is slow for today's standards and isn't the stock ss vs stock si a very close race?

What's the problem? You didn't say anything. they didn't make the ss/sc's in 08. Thats like saying "would you get a 09 neon srt4 or a 09 caliber srt-4"

You my friend are one of those arrogant tc owners I was talking about. Get off your high horse.

I'm curious to see these results. Good thread.

PS been here for a while. Not quite original, but a year after.
Ya and thats why im saying its to bad to hear this but the more and more people that come on this forum the more problems we have but at the same time the more people we have on hear the sponcers and group buys and so on. Its a win lose situation.

These kinds of statements are exactly what we're discussing here. outside of a different motor and a few misc. bolt on parts like the front brakes and seats they are the exact same frickin car!!! The only reason you haven't seen major problems with these things breaking down is because people really haven't dug in and began modding them yet. Look at the mess that people created when they tried to make their own home made CAI. CEL's and vacuum leaks, and boost creap like a ****! I see lots of broken TC's in the not to distant future...

As an SS/SC owner, well soon not to be anymore (but not getting a SS/TC) I'll probably still be active on the forum and I'm not going anywhere, but it's like with siblings all the other beef between the Cobalt SS/NA and the SS/SC, well now there's a new kid in the house, the SS/TC all still Cobalt SS's but let's find a way to get along.

100% agree!

I was just seeing all the post about the TC was turning the site into a **** hole with all the new arrogant members joining but when I was looking around most of the SS/TC owners that post allot have owned cobalt's in the past and have been here all along. I just wanted to do a poll to see where everyone stands thats why I posted in a TC sections. I really don't car what people think of there cobalt's and what is better than what, THIS IS NOT WHAT THIS THREAD IS ABOUT. I think we have plenty of those threads out there already.
