Do you have to do a clutch re-learn with these cars when getting a new ECU?

Not if you get the one with the newest OS. I got mine from GTPprix also, no issues at all.

Yes, the dealer can track if you've swapped your ECM for another unit even if you put the stocker back in when they scan it. The info is stored in a separate computer on the car, the BCM, it stores info on the last 15 flashes and ECM's I believe, it may be less though. Either way most dealers don't take the time to scan, mine hasn't and I'm on a tuned stocker. A buddy of mine who was a tech at a Saturn dealership gave me that info a while ago, I forgot about it until I saw a few other members on this site mention the same thing.

No, they cant. The only ECM that has the ability to do this (and its stored in the ECM) is the 2007.5+ LMM Diesel ECM. If you buy and tune a second ECM and replace it with your 100% stock one for dealer trips you are fine hence why I stock them

Okay I sorta trust GTPprix, I have bought other items off him, but would just like someone to confirm this. I have heard others say that they can tell, and GTP is pretty confident that they cant(he does work at a dealer also). But can anyone confirm this. LIke someone who has bought one off of him and then put the stock one back in for service?
THanks guys!

Find a wrecked Cobalt/G5 that has the same engine as yours and of the same ECU.
