Will GM put the 83% babysitter on the SS/TC

For a while I was interested in picking up a Solstice GXP so I cruised around the Solstice forums.

While I was there I read several threads about the throttle only opening to 83% maximum.

I wonder if GM will pull this same **** with the SS/TC also.

HP Tuners should be able to fix that.

When I had a scanner on mine it said my TPS was only 97% when I had it to the floor. I know its only 3% but still. I figured on the floor was 100% but I guess not... It also said I had 13% torque reduction... I need some hptuners to fix these minor things...

even on the current ss wot throttle only reads as 85% or some crap... even though the throttle is completely open. It's just a #. It's not like it actually limits the throttle from opening more than 83%

HPT tries to read the TPS, but it needs to read the ETC which in turn reads 100% when wide open throttle.

::sigh::
all of the gm throttle by wire tb's up to 07, excluding the lnf vehicles only read 88% wot etc. the only reason why you see 100% via hpt is because the setting was changed to read 100%
