Won’t start
Won’t start
Car would act like it wanted to start but didn’t sound like it was getting enough fuel. It would spit and sputter but not fully start. Through code p0193. Any ideas on what to check first?
According to my factory service manual, P0193 is "Fuel rail pressure (FRP) Sensor circuit high voltage".
It goes on to say that P0193 (&P0192) are a 'Type A' DTC, and that this would put you in reduced engine power mode.
But if I am reading this correctly, this code should only be thrown when the engine is running...
Reading further, it says:
"A poor connection, or improper terminal contact, or improper terminal retention at X162 multi-way harness connector may set DTC P0191 or P0193."
I would look to see if somehow a connector got loosened...
You could clear codes to see if it starts.
