When you start your cobalt, how do you start it?

Do you just flick it to start or do you hold it until it starts?

Start it, red line it, dump the clutch and no , lift shift every gear until she's warmed up. Then shift at 2k the rest of the time with slow easy proceedings

I hold the pedal to the floor, flick the key, let the engine turn over for like 5-7 seconds and then let my foot off the gas.

To turn it off, I hit a pothole.

I wait for mine to turn itself off because apparently they do that.

WTF

I have personally never had an issue with the car turning off when I have hit some gnarly ass bumps, but then again, I only have the fob on my keyring...

I don't hold the key or flick the key. I installed a 2 stage push button start. And I also installed a hidden button on the outside of the car that unlocks the doors for me.

I put it in gear first, and let off the clutch as soon as I flick the key.
