yea but its all about how safely the car can carry out the power and how efficient the stock turbo would be to get to those numbers. Lol and 386wtq come on synapse I dont think anyone is dumb enough to buy that with a stock clutch which is going butter fingers by now. Upgrade the clutch and thats something worth checking it out.

Thats actually not a bad price at all.

**** rebuilding the motor is cheaper than their turbo kit which is 4K not including all the other bolt ons the car probably has.

Its technically a wash if you blow it up, The money you spend rebuilding would have been spent on the build. So even if you grenade the motor and rebuild it you then have a Built Turbo Swapped SS rather than an SS with a Turbo Swap on the stock motor

For anyone who plans on building a turbo swapped Cobalt this is a hell of a deal.

usually any test car has been beat to hell. more then likely things are starting to go wrong or they are moving onto other projects.

hey I never said it would be safe But a turbo upgrade wouldnt be all that costly if you did it yourself and did it right. at any rate a upgraded turbo SS imo should be able to hit 400whp easy with a big turbo.

That thing was prolly like a tuner rental car in their eyes ..... they knew it would be gone after they were done testing ..... What would you do to a rental you could control the boost on lol. If GM can see how many flashes have been done to a car ....It would be interesting to see how many times that baby's been flashed hehe. Wonder if it rolls over like an odometer?
