to the OP I wanted to get a S2000 after leaving boot camp, i ended up with a GT Mustang, i felt so big in that car even at 165, now i'm a solid 235 and cant imagine being in one, plus i had a vert car.... btw took my car road racing this year on stock everything setup.... It felt good to take out more than one S2k and especially the modded suspension, tires, and supercharged one in stock SS/TC form

Not gonna lie though, if I didn't DD my car in Ohio, I would so take a s2000 over my Cobalt.

 

you dont live in washington where honda and jdm are hella pricey. i used to live in michigan and "jdm" is dirt cheap there.

 

i got my 06 ss/sc for 10k at a dealer and at the time i couldnt find a decent s2k without 100k miles under 14k at a dealer

 

maybe thats true i guess i live in a good part of america where "JDM" aka overpriced nonsense isnt looked at like god, because a decent GT or Z28 or well any american car can kill a S2k, snap oversteer must be fun!!!!! wait that takes people actually pushing the vechicle

 

damnit now i sound like a ass... dont take me wrong i love S2K's and almost was an owner and still love to race them in GT5 and Forza 3, dont take me wrong, i just own cheap cars that i know that can do work with cheap mods

Potential being the key word. How many people actualy modify there s2k to the limit, or for that mater do more than an exhaust and intake. 90% of the s2k i see are pretty stock, maybe wheels maybe an exhaust. People buy the car and think it is the be all and end all stock.

Stock for stock a SS/TC will stomp a s2k.

 

as much as i love hondas...i cant really stand the owners, sorta like some owners for mustangs.. people are so ****** closed minded and think they car is better then everyone elses
