WTF!?! This cant be right!?
Has anybody seen this edmund's video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQ7MD...eature=related
The 1/4mi result is 14 flat at 115.6mph. Am I wrong or is that a very, very fast trap speed for a 14et? I havent seen any stock SS/TCs hit such a high trap speed. Its not possible is it?

The vid is incorrect, if you look at the article on Edmunds website (see link), it says this:

The 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS uses up just 5.8 seconds accelerating to 60 mph, and it goes through the quarter-mile in 14 seconds flat at 103.6 mph.

Edmunds typically has very slow times because they drive it as a normal person would and don't go for an all out time like other car mags do.
I wouldn't believe either of those numbers from them. Is 105 even possible for the average driver on a stock ss/tc?

That kind of trap speed is usually seen in 12-sec cars from my experience, maybe an 11-sec car depending on how well its set up. Certainly a car weighing what an SS/TC does would theoretically need to be making well over 350 fwhp to get anywhere near that...
